Shamus Blargostadt
oh my gosh that's beautiful work. I'm curious about the line in the middle of the handle spine. Is that the tang or decorative metal that looks like a tang?

mitch4ging
Awsome work, Cliffrat! Is it a frame handle construction? Nice choice of materials.
cliffrat
Two piece frame handle. Each piece is .06" thick 416 stainless. The two piece frame allows you to use the center of the frame to develop file work patterns. Most file work is done in bas relief, so you remove material and what is left behind is the pattern. I try to find ways to do the opposite, create a pattern out of void space.
