I've been told I just found a Samson Anvil right down the street. Saved it from the scrap dealer.  Haven't weighed it yet I'm guessing  200+lbs.

What cananyone tell me about the supposed rarity of these Anvils 

cast iron base, steel face; like Vulcan and Fisher anvils; appears to have been made from around 1884 to 1901.  Not very common, not a very good anvil and that one is damaged.  Yugo's are rare as a car; how much is a wrecked one worth?

Whatever the buyer is willing to pay.

No,  I fixed it and use it daily
