Kenny O
I cant find a model number, and it is galvanized under the paint, it also has a little bicycle looking bell on the crank, the Champion logo is embossed into the fan cover. Has anyone seen one of these? I am unable to post photos right now.... I will tomorrow
ThomasPowers
Any evidence that bell was original to the set up?
Kenny O
I will present the evedence....You decide...My opinion is that it is an oem bell that the apprentice must ring 65 times per minute (RPM). It may have been for a small rivit forge of some sort. I have no use for it but ...for 15 dollars I could not let it pass, and it is in really great shape. The galvenizing makes me think it is a rather late model.. I don't know the history, as to when production stopped. maybe I can make a lamp out of it B) <_<
ThomasPowers
I think the entire crank was switched over from a different item; not unusual, I've switched cranks between things before.
Kenny O
I hadn't thought of that. Time for more research, google knows.... Find an old Champion Catalogue, see if it was a feature.
