Everything Mac
Hi guys, this was more a proof of concept forge than anything else. I made it from an old plough disc and just scrap I've had lying about the workshop. Quick and dirty - I just wanted to see if I could use this plough effectively. I'm hoping to get a thicker disc at some point and then I'll build a more robust version. The ash gate also serves to control the air flow. Thanks for looking. SReynolds
(VERY) interesting. Looks like you have done it. Never used one, myself. I have built one for fun, never used it. I have factory built forges at my disposal. My question would be the hair dryer. How does it sound? Is it muffled in any way inside that pipe? Do you have means to control the speed via a sewing machine pedel?
Everything Mac
Thanks chaps. I'm looking forward to building the bigger version, but this works very well indeedy for the time being. It needs some thicker legs really but I only had the 10mm square. All the best Andy
