No wonder the USA is virtually littered with them.(grin) HB made somewhere around 307,000 anvils, according to the serial # chart in AIA. There most prolific year was 1906 with around 16,000 made. Their last year, 1925, only lists around 1000 made. They were really producing them during certain years. BTW, the building in Brooklyn, NY is still there and in use today.
