forgeahead
These pics are items I got from an auction. One may be some kind of homemade wrench, the others? Any ideas? Thanx
HWooldridge
#1 is a struck tool (note the mushroomed head) but I can't tell the use. #2 is a chisel with a stop collar. #3 looks like a special spanner wrench but for what we'll probably never know. #4 does look like another special wrench. keykeeper
The last one appears to be a tool used in setting the individual tooth angle of large saw blades. I have seen similar tools with a hammer head on the back opposite the slot, for use in "tuning" the teeth.
ThomasPowers
last one is definitely a saw wrest for setting saw teeth.
mike-hr
#3 looks like a spider guage for testing the depth of the saw tooth set.
lazyassforge
The third item is a guage for checking the amount of set in the teeth of a saw. The last item looks like a saw setting tool. Bill D.
HWooldridge
Then they are probably all related to setting saw teeth and/or repairing hand saws. Probably belonged to a long dead tradesman.
