May 4, 201412 yr JeremyK and I were talking in the chat last night so here is the requested pic of the work from this wekend. I only got to 30 micron on handle, of purple/green double dyed box elder burl with green maple spacer with white/gray/white spacer material in each side of the green wood, stainless guard and butt cap and polish will be added after the handle is finished. Blade is a ladder pattern 1084/L6 skinner. have not decided on color of sheath yet
May 6, 201412 yr Author The blade is 4.5 inches long, I have finished it up to 15 micron, then polished with white rouge. Black leather sheath with a snap for a quick release belt attaachment, and threaded stainless steel butt cap.
