Found this online (see attachment) and it just made me laugh. But now I want to know what XXX XXXXX  kind of anvil is this, is it even a anvil? it looks almost home made. :blink:

It looks like a modified farrier's anvil.  Stock base and heel area, with a welded on homemade horn.   My guess.

Perhaps someone got this anvil in a broken state, and decided to "fix" it. If you own it, you can do whatever you want to it.

I guess so, just seems like a waste of time but hey I been bored befor.

Actually this same anvil was a discussion item on this forum several months ago.

Haha look like it's been stung by a bee and swelled up fat. Certainly not a factory made anvil anymore.

To me it looks like it was made by someone who had no clue why parts of an anvil were shaped they way they are---the flat on top the horn for instance!
