A conical horned anvil in the 250lb range is at the top of my wish list at post :-)

It's not always the tool you want, sometimes the tool you need.
I will instal a railing next week and have everything I could think of set. Looked at the drawing again this morning and realized I needed to drill a few holes in a confined 5" space.... Right angle drill ordered. Ugg just another 200 spent out of profit.

Well my short drill and short drill bits fit in the tight space with less than a 1/8" to spare. Glad I bought that drill

I like that idea. I'm guessing you'd have to mount it separately from the anvil in order to make full use of the hardy shank?

I plan on welding spikes to the bottom, burying a tree stump, then hammering the tool into the stump. I almost have all the dimensions figured out

when I start thinking about it, the only thing i really need is more tongs, perhaps an anvil that has some rebound would be nice too, my ASO almost turns my 4,4 lbs cross pein into a dead blow hammer, atleast it doesn't ring a lot

Good luck finding one in Iceland. I need a small army of tongs, all i can seem to make are flat jaws ATM.
