Demonstration and Open Forge January 25th, 2014

NWBA sponsors a monthly demonstration and open forge at our Mentoring Center, featuring a variety of demonstrators and topics. The beauty of these events is being able to jump right into the forge to try out what was just demonstrated.

The NWBA Mentoring Center is located at:
Cowlitz Expo Center and NWBA Mentoring Center
1900 7th Avenue, Longview, WA, 98632, Northwest

This month, demonstrator Darryl Nelson will demonstrate forge welding techniques using the propane forge. Being able to successfully forge weld can be challenging, this is a great opportunity to watch and learn from a skilled smith the dos and don'ts of forge welding. After the demonstration there will be open forge time to try your hand at what you just saw in the demo. Hope you can make it to this great opportunity.

NWBA Board Meeting January 25, 2014

The next NWBA Board meeting will be held this coming Satruday, January 25th, 2014, in conjunction with the monthly Demonstration and Open Forge. New board members will be introduced and board officers will be elected for 2014.
