Anvil with a D.H. stamped on the front? Anybody?

Found this on the 'ol craigslist and am wondering if it might be worth anything?  It does not have a Hardy or pritchell hole and the only markings are "a D H stamped on front".  Looking for my first anvil and some advise on this one.  Any thoughts are appreciated.  Thanks!

Hard to tell from the picture, but is the anvil missing the heel and hardy and pritchel holes?  Something does not look right, unless it is the angle of the picture.

I agree. It looks like the heel is missing, taking the hardy and pritchel holes with it. Can still be a very good anvil though. But only if the price is good enough.

Do the ball bearing test.  If it passes it's a good anvil even without being a brand name.  If it fails it's a bad anvil even if it's a top of the line brand name.

Thanks for the replies, definitely helps to get a little feedback.  It does look like it's missing some chunks which the seller did not speak to.  Even if its a good anvil I think the hardy and pritchel hole will be worth waiting for as far as bang for the buck goes.  He was asking 250 which isn't terrible if it's still decent but...  thanks ya'll
