Im a journeyman welder that's mainly self taught in the area's of knife making and branching out to blacksmithing to learn even more with the possibilities of hammering hot steel. I'm not sure if the web-site is still active, but the Saskatoon crowd are still at it. Vancouver Island Blacksmiths Association www.viblacksmiths.com is busy, so are the Kootenay Blacksmith Association (can't remember the web-site).
