Frosty Posted August 30, 2013 Share Posted August 30, 2013 It looks like 555 to me. Not that I have any idea what that means or even if I'm seeing it straight. I have no idea what something like 555 would mean, vises were rated by jaw width and not weight like folk do now. I don't think 555 fits either rating designation. I'm just speculating and waiting till someone who actually knows what they're talking about speaks up. You can get a better look by rubbing it with chalk and lightly wiping it off.
