KYBOY
Now Ill admit, Im not the best tong maker..Never practiced it enough to be honest but they work..Two pairs of bolt head tongs, two pairs of pick up tongs and a pair of round stock tongs.. Steve Sells
KY they look worth buying, and appear very usable also, dont sell yourself short
Maillemaker
Those are a thousand times better than any tongs I could make right now. A round of applause for you.
Steve H
Nice variety. Some people make a lot of hammers but tongs are harder in my opinion because you need consistency. Making two of anything the same is never as easy as it sounds. Nice work
DSW
I agree nice job. They are a lot cleaner and crisper than the ones I can make right now. I'd also agree on the nice consistency. It's tough to get things the same each time.
WraithsNinja
Looks very nice, what size/type of stock did you start out with.
New2Smithn
Those are definetly very nice...i recently purchased Bill Epps tong makeing dvd and attempted to make a pair of bolt tongs from 5/8" sucker rod like the ones he makes and failed miserably! Though they do some what resemble a tong the two sides are so far off they will never work but they were fun to try and i will be back at it try n again my next off days! Hopefully a i can post some pics of tongs as nice as yours when im done

Private Entrance
Those are wonderful. I'll take any of your 'not very good' tongs over any of my 'best tongs' any day.
KYBOY
Thanks guys, practice is the key to good tongs. Ive learned that the hard way..You can make the nicest knife, axe or hammer but if you cant get the consistency down you cant make tongs for squat..Ask me how I know? LOL Tongs are one thing that can still humble me.
