After learning the horsehead technique from a smith at a CBA gathering (thanks again Clinton) Then kinda forgot the proportions when it was time to make another for a co worker. Took three tries to get it right and then the shape just clicked and it was hard to tell the two apart. Interesting, when I learned this the first time, it also took 3 tries to get the sequence correct. riveted those first three together as a sort of storyboard to hang on the wall. All girls want a horse so horse head finials are a great choice for secretary gifts. IF the secretary is a woman.
