Mark Emig
Hi All, This belongs to Bobby Hanson-for sale also. Any ideas on which brand it is? No markings other than a 2 where the weight would be stamped. Seems to be over 300 pounds. Thanks!

ThomasPowers
Fat waist, sharp feet, "squat look" English anvil of which Mouseholes were the most common exported to the United States. If you are in one of the many countries in the commonwealth it may be ANY of the over 200 english makers that produced surprisingly similar style anvils---often because the workers trained under an established anvil maker and then broke off and started their own business making what they were familiar with. So as with MANY blacksmithing questions LOCATION is important.
