I started out a few years ago making handles for store purchased blades. I purchased a Buffalo forge with attached blower In July of 2013 from a 93 year old friend for $20.00. I started with the "railroad spike" knife, after pounding out a few of these I started my own blade steel using junk steel. I love making the blades using material most see as junk, and wish I had more time for it. I will get some pictures posted once I get it figgered out.
