Solano
My first projects , inspired by contributors to IFI. The larger one on a base I made for my neighbor, a rancher and Methodist minister's 80th birthday a month ago. It is mounted with a traditional mortise and tenon joint from 3/4" sq stock and 1/2" plate base. A little brass tint brushed on the simulated wood grain. I just spent the past week with Frank Turley, so you can bet my projects will improve immensely. One of the best things I've ever spent a week at. What a wealth of knowledge the man has.Split cross on base.bmp
