cheftjcook
Not really a Problem solving question here...But a question never the less. Has anyone ever heard of a "Southern Steel" anvil possibly for farriers? Some one I know is selling an anvil and says the brand/name is southern steel. As I don't much beyond a few of the more popular names of anvils I was hopping someone could give me a bit of input and advice on this one. I have not gone to see it yet, as it is a bit of a drive. ps..I do not need this anvil but my tool addiction has been spiked and I feel a moment of weakness and the crave has begun:rolleyes: I may have to take the drive just for satisfaction. russell_smith93
zombie thread!!!! what was your conclusion on the southern steel anvil? I do have one, it is a farrier's anvil, I am guessing it is 90-100# the hardie hole measures 7/8,& the horn is wider than the face.
