PCornett
So these wheels are being sold on FB and I dont have experience with wrought to be able to tell without it being REAL obvious, so my question is "Is it possible to tell from the picture link below whether these wheels are wrought or not, and if so, are they worth 20 dollars a piece?" https://skydrive.live.com/redir?resid=47DC83DDCD885D43!671&authkey=!ADA8VGchDe1AUTA If they end up being wrought but I cant purchase them, being Christmas time and all, I will post them quickly in the Tailgating section so be watching if you are interested. Thank you...

781
I agree they are cast ironWR tires were flat iron that went around a wooden wheel but here in MN the are ussually mild steel not WRSquare WR from an old brigde is $1 a # at SOFA tail gate area.I think the WR from an old elevator in Superior WI is $8 a pound so the price depends on were you are and how bad you need it. ThomasPowers
Last three tyres I have acquired: free from the trash transfer place, $5 from the scrapyard next to the trash transfer place, 9 cents a pound from the same scrapyard. Those, while not wrought, can be useful for tong racks but are a bit pricy for that! I use old wheelbarrow steel wheels for tong racks as well as the simple bar rack bolted to the front of my hammer rack
PCornett
Thanks for the help gents. Not a bad idea on the tong rack but I can wait for one to fall in my lap free before I think about that....
