Mervmaster
I'm trying my hand at this incredible trade. I made mower deck/brake drum forge a rail anvil and got myself some scraps to play with. I can't figure out where to buy coke!!! Any help on this would be awesome. So far I've used hardwood charcoal, but it burns up in no time at all!! Thanks for your time.
doc
You didn't give your location in NJ. But if you would go to the New Jersey blacksmith association web site I'm sure you'll find some help there and probably someone not to far from you who is also smithing. cheftjcook
Welcome MM, Where are you located in NJ? I am in Northern NJ. The NJ Blacksmith Association is a great bunch of folks with lots of info and know how. Peters Valley is also a great resource for classes and information. I belong to NJBA and take classes at PV from time to time and can tell you that Both Organizations are loaded with very skilled smiths all willing to help and share information. Have learned alot from both! Tim
