Blakksmyth
At just over $2.00 a pound, it sounds like a good price.

John McPherson
Not a steal, but a fair price for one in that condition, a dealer around here would charge double that.
macbruce
It's a fair enough price. If you offer less (I always do) the worst he can do is say no.......... ;)

VaughnT
Yep, $2/lb is a good price for an anvil in that condition. The anvil has rolled edges, which isn't a bad thing, and a bit of a sway-back, but it's entirely serviceable and in the "ideal" weight range. You won't go wrong with that buy! Everything Mac
I would definitely try and haggle it down a bit. It needs a bit if a clean up here and there but it looks in pretty good condition. That works out at £235 which is a bit high for me personally but still an ok price. I did just pay £150 ($243) for a 225lb Peter wright though. :) I'd definitely buy it! Let us know how you get on! All the best Andy
pkrankow
Fair to good edges, slight sway. $2/lb is fair. Better deals exist, but this is fair, and will outlast you. Phil
MOblacksmith0530
It is okay, I would definitely try to haggle a bit. To me is would be worth 300. I have seen worse anvils go for more and better anvils go for less. The size is good though. Just my .
