Maillemaker
A friend of mine commissioned a coat rack for his apartment; the only requirements being that it have five hooks. So I fired up the forge, and this is what sprang out. 36" long, 5 3/4" wide, with spikes 6" on center. About four hours of smithing, $60. Jeff Seelye
You ARE a good friend! Looks cool, are those nails in the wood or bolt heads? Interesting design.

GustavDebels
How'd you fasten the entire rack to the wall when you wanted to use it?
Maillemaker
Gustav, I'm not sure. I could forge some brackets for it, or recess some slots in the back for screws. I'll ask the customer.
edge9001
I made something similar a while back using large timber spikes, essentially large nails. I tried to sell it but when it didn't sell. I put it onmy own wall.
