Sam Salvati
Here is a couple new knives, still being worked on. Left to right they are, big brother to the little ring hilt Kiridashi bowie from 1075, still needs a bit of forging filework on the bowie knife from 1095, I tried to do a hamon, not sure if it came out or not Enjoy. blkbear
Very nice! I like the shapes and the filing on the spine that you have done. Just goes to show that it has not all been done and that there are still limitless posibilities. Brian

Sam Salvati
Here is some of the freshly rough ground bowie blade pictured above, it was rough ground by my teacher John(in about 10 minutes), but I will do all the finish grinding, forge an S guard, and pick the wood and pommel, I have some Daryl Meir Damascus, might look good for the pommel. COULD YOU BELEIVE THIS BLADE WAS HIDING UNDER ALL THAT SCALE!??!?! I could;).

Sam Salvati
Just a set I forged up for a friend who traded me some A2 debarking blades, they are for holding flat bar. Made completely traditional, in the shapes and style I find pretty comfortable. They will hold various sizes of flat bar, like from really thin, 1/16th, to aboutmaybe 3/8ths tops. Don A
That blade is looking great. It deserves some really top-shelf furniture. How do you plan to treat the end of the tang? Threaded, peined, hidden? Good work, Don

Don A
Yeah, I don't care much for a big knob style screw-on pommel, but I do like the nut & ring style like Raymond Richard does. If I could ever score a tap & die set, I'd like to try something like that. Don
