JNewman
I thought I would post a picture of a pattern I am in the process of turning. I will probably turn all day today and tomorrow add ribs paint and add a bottom on Sunday.
JNewman
This site has gotten too tricky to attach photos to. I will have to attach pictures next week when I have time

Jacques
Goodness gracious. If that is as big as I think it is you are a very brave man. Edit: had a look at your website and saw "turned patterns up to 7 ft dia". Amazing work, patternmaking has always intrigued me.
pkrankow
That's a little gear. Truth be told, I got to measure finished, machined gears in that general size range. An appreciation for size comes when moving one with a fairly normal sized fork truck, and the steering is lose and light, touching the brakes causes a leaning feeling...Rules were ankle high or lower for a reason. Awesome work. Phil
Syd Partridge
That's impressive. I know competent patternmakers who would struggle at a fraction of that size.
