Darklighter Posted February 15, 2012 Share Posted February 15, 2012 Hey guys, my names Dan and im currently in the UK but will be in Australia in 5ish months time. Ive been interested in the blacksmiths trade for a long while and recently stopped thinking about it and actually picked up the hammer. I have not got anything approaching an anvil yet (a vice on a wooden work bench) but it works well enough with my frying pan forge Any how, enough bragging. This website and its members have helped me out so much already i thought id stop lurking and register!! Looking forward to speaking to some like minded people. Cheers Dan. The problem isn't so much getting a proper anvil as it is me not wanting to invest too much money when irl be leaving in a few months. @woodyarmourer Hi, haha your right it is a big place, I shoulda been more specific!
