September 6, 201114 yr I want to thank Brian and Lyle for the information for this vise. I am still finishing it up, but I am already using it and really like the ability to move around the vise. I want a large post vise if someone has one I will trade you a stand like this (without the 3 inch vise) for the large vise.
September 6, 201114 yr Author This is as far as I have gotten. Still need to add feet and get the post extended to the ground. I started with a broken post vise that had a good spring and screw.

January 12, 201214 yr Author Two posts up is what it still looks like. I still want to fill it with sand, but am debating that one as it is working great at its current weight.
