John B Posted July 31, 2011 Share Posted July 31, 2011 Here are pictures of how you can texture solid round stock. This particular sample is for Oak tree type bark texture, a simple spring tool with grooves cut across the faces with an angle grinder blade about 1/8" thick, insert stock and rotate whilst striking, the tool can be used under powerhammer, treadle hammer or on anvil with sledge or large hammer.
