July 12, 201115 yr Haven't posted anything in a bit. Been working on this small boot or neck knife, haven't decided yet. I guess the sheath will decide what it ends up as. All from scrap lying around the shop. Regards Keith

July 15, 201115 yr Author Thanks guys, the sheath is turning out to be more trouble to make than the knife. Keith.
July 16, 201115 yr Very nice. What are your material choices? I do understand "scrap" but not all of that looks un-named scrap. Phil
July 17, 201115 yr Author Very nice. What are your material choices? I do understand "scrap" but not all of that looks un-named scrap. Phil Phil the blade was a cutoff of a old saw mill blade, a fella told me it was probably L2. I have no idea but it gets very hard and hold a heck of an edge. The handle material was antique steer horn cuttings and the bolsters, if that is what they are called, are for an attempt at welding cable (not too successful). Still new to this have only been attempting knife making since right before Christmas. But I am enjoying it thoroughly. Keith.
