Hi guys just finished the second rasp up and wanted to try some rawhide for the sheath. Well this is how it turned out. Tell me what you think.

Regards Keith.

A very cool looking piece of rawhide! What is that little eyespot on it? I am not sure that I like the rivets where they could dull the blade though. Could you use a thick leather (or rawhide) welt to protect the stitches instead? Neat looking knife and even neater looking sheath!

Thanks bigfootnampa for the comments. I wrapped a leather sheath with the rawhide. Under the eyespots I inlaid python belly. I agree, I should have set the rivets closer to the edge. It has a leather welt but had to double up some thin leather to thicken it up. I need to get more thick leather. Thanks again, Keith.
