CurlyGeorge
#211107 was made between 1943-April 1945. The T50 should be by the foot under the horn and mean 50 pounds. If it's not located there, then look there, next to the serial # and it should give you weight in pounds, according to Anvils In America. :D
zampilot
I have this Trexton anvil. T50 211107 Can anyone tell give me any information on its age, weight, and value? The 'T' may mean taylor, an anvil maker for Trenton. 50lbs.
ThomasPowers
"I have a car it's a ford tell me what it's worth" Sounds kind of silly without knowing the details of condition, model, location---anvils sell for about twice as much where I live now than where I used to live and both places are in the USA! So *DETAILS* please or else it's "anywhere from the scrap rate of the metal to $5-$6 a pound." (With the counter that getting much above $2-3 a pound depends on special circumstances and getting less than $1 a pound is not unknown even for anvils not sold as "scrap".)
