You didn't tell us. As I recall Trenton was one of a number of companies that furnished anvils to Sears under their Ajax brand. Sask Mark Posted February 26, 2011 Share Posted February 26, 2011 Acme was the trademark used by Sears. Hay Budden and Trenton both made anvils that were stamped Acme for Sears. Mr. Postman isn't sure what Ajax stood for. He was told it might have been a second of CF&I, or it might have been a name used by a hardware company or...
