nwaite
I would like to try my hand at making midevil stile weps. So I'm just wondering what would be good to make them with for a begginer. Thank you!

David Einhorn
... making midevil stile weps. ...what would be good to make them with for a begginer. .. I would recommend starting off with mild-steel as a good material to start with. Mild steel is easily acquired and not too costly, so that your experiments in making stuff would be more affordable. Then later you can gradually learn about and graduate to specialty steels that are more costly. You could also try various scrap-yard steels, but at first I would suggest keeping things as simple as possible. Keep us informed, pictures are always appreciated.
