My first Bowie (Sheath also)

Featured Replies

Hey everybody!
Merry Christmas to all of you :)

Here it is, my first Bowie and a sheath for it. Took me about 4 days. I really enjoyed forging it. I didn't want to make it all shiny, I liked it this way. Looks cool in my opinion. Anyway what do you guys think?

sorry for the bad quality :(

Kaspar

Good job, Kaspar. For your first knife I'd say it's an excellent job. No doubt you learned from the experience and will be able to make any changes that you feel that you need to in future projects. That's what it's all about. Thanks for sharing. :D

Thank you for your responses.

Gene, I did spent a lot of time hand stiching the sheath, I started making the sheath 9 pm and finished it 4 am :D

Curly, thanks for the response :) Actually it's not my first knife, It's my very first bowie iv'e ever made :) I have forged about 5 knives this far. I really did learn from the experience and no doubt in the future I will make my knives better.

Thanks, Kaspar

love the grind with the fresh forge finish , really looks nasty lol, in a good way :)

That thing looks dangerous. Reminds me of crocodile dundee's bowie. (Australian classic)
