November 30, 201015 yr How much does any magazine cost for a single copy? 41 issues for $20 - you have to ask is it worth it? If you get 5 hints or learn 5 things from all those you have well paid for the whole lot. - buy them and enjoy or I may.
November 30, 201015 yr They are also selling it as a buy it now for $16.57. You can look at several issues free here. http://books.google.com/books?id=kbLmAAAAMAAJ&dq=american%20blacksmith&pg=PR1#v=onepage&q&f=false
November 30, 201015 yr You can search on Google books and download Volume 2(12 issues). That could help you decide if you want to buy the ones on Ebay
December 1, 201015 yr Since it's from 1902, I'm guessing it's past copyright, correct? (75 years, IIRC?) Also, where's the download link? I'm just getting snippets...

December 1, 201015 yr Could prove to be the best twenty dollars you ever spent. I spent about twenty minutes just glancing around and learned a bucket full of stuff right there... Hey- Anybody here from Toronto ??? Have a look at page 42 and notice the picture of the wrought iron work then located atop the Alexandra gates at Queens Park in Toronto. It would be very interesting to see if that work is still there today.

It's nice to know they are still there after all these years. Too bad about the huge amount of wrought iron work lost in Europe with all the bombing, etc. in WWII. Haven't been up to Toronto in a few years, maybe I'll make it a point to get there for the St. Patrick's Day parade in '11. I've been to a few of those in Toronto and they're always great.
