CurlyGeorge
I normally make fire grates in one piece. However I had a customer request one that he could fold in half for storage. He wanted it to fit the fire rings that the state parks use on concrete slabs, but also wanted to be able to use it free standing. So I made it in two pieces and use steel door hinges to join it. I also made 4 legs that are driven in the ground. Put expanded metal on one end so that he could use that end as a grill. I made the grate out of floor grating. Worked out good. He also wanted some S hooks and a 3pc fireiron set to hang pots from, over the fire. It's been a good day.

Frosty
Nice work George and expression of the true spirit of the blacksmith's trade. Give the customer what they want and a bit more. Well done indeed. Frosty the Lucky.
