Very nice work. I was wondering how you were going to support the weight of the gate, and it looks like it is supported on the floor. Good option. Lots of different things going on and it keeps my eye moving around the piece.

how many hours do you think went into this project?

about 12 days for the job,and a day for buying the materials. but i think with more experience it may be a few days shorter... in hours about 100?

its a nice job I can tell it was a process that taught you well,

you have done well it is a nice project that shows what you can do as a smith.

good luck to you and hopefully you will have more projects in a similar fashion
