Check out our website www.blacksmithsguild.com and see if we have any Craft Shows we are attending that are on near to you. There is always a good display of ironwork, demonstrations and a live competition if you fancy a go on the forges, If you are having withdrawel symptoms, I am sure a loan of tools can be arranged if you see Roland, Andrew or Gary. Also check out www.blacksmithscompetition.co.uk for locations and details of shows that have excellent blacksmithing competitions (live forging and static displays) ie The Royal Welsh Show, 19th to 22cnd July, The New Forest Show 27th to 29th July There are also other shows that also have blacksmithing displays Royal Norfolk Show on today and tomorrow, and the Great Yorkshire Show on 13th to 15th July If you get down to Devon when we have a course on at Westpoint, feel free to drop in and introduce yourself and join us if you like.
