December 24, 200916 yr Howdy from East TEXAS! and welcome to IFI! There is a group of like minded folks around you called LAMA, can't think of their web site but should be easy to find. I highly recommend joining them. You can get hands on help at meetings and possibly be able to pick up tools from them in their tailgating. There are at least 5 yrs of archives here to read, should keep you busy for a while, on thousands of different topics pertaining to blacksmithing. You can learn a lot from that but the best is to just get in there and DO IT! Enjoy.
