postleg
The fact that smiths and collectors both value anvil's keeps a lot of them off the scrap boat to China. Eventually a lot of collections will come on the market as collectors pass and there is no one who wants to take on the collection or would rather have the money then an anvil collection. EricRollerskate
I Smith as hobby, and collect. This was my outside beater anvil because I thought it was a nothing anvil. It's going to most likely turn into my indoor beater anvil now. Lol
Everything Mac
Well now it seems there are three known Samson anvils. Guns, anvils and cars are all the same. You can only use one at a time so buy the best you can afford and learn to use it well. Andy
Jadams
Just bought a 60lb pristine Samson with a very pronounced VW &WH Co on the table. I have my two Colombians that I use so I really don't need it. Anyone have an idea of what it's worth? (Aside from "what someone is willing to pay"). I'm looking for information of what they have sold for in the past.
