oakwoodforge Posted August 29, 2006 Share Posted August 29, 2006 I heat treated this one after work tonight, after dinner I got it out of the tempering oven and starting sanding. This is my favorite part of the whole process, when you can just start seeing the hamon line. Its like unwraping a present. Right now the blade is at 320 grit and its dark and rainy outside as well as after 10 pm , so you have to forgive the poor photograph.
