divermike Posted November 22, 2009 Share Posted November 22, 2009 It's not the carbon dioxide we should be worried about, if the solar maximum gets our planet warm enough, the frozen methane at the ocean floor will start releasing, and "the fountains of the deep" will become a startling reality, some think this phenomenon is the cause of the bermuda triangle issues. I don't know if it made national news but several years ago there was a sink hole in San Francisco, by the Presidio, It swallowed two large houses and a bunch of trees. If memory servse me right, it was caused by heavy rains and a ruptured sewer line.
