cbl4823
Finally brought this home last week, total weight is 510 lbs with stand. As you can see by the stand, it was stuck in the ground a good distance. Good thing I brought the engine hoist to pull it out! Anvil will be for sale in the near future. Bentiron1946
Except for the rust it doesn't appear to be abused.

philip in china
Any beginner reading this should note that if he or she were to buy that anvil there would never be the need to buy another- unless a small, prtable travelling anvil were needed. Avadon
Finally brought this home last week, total weight is 510 lbs with stand. Beautiful anvil, but dump that stand and get yourself some solid 1.5-2" plate under it with some nice heavy duty legs. You'll then be rocking n rolling. My 450# Gladiator becomes 715#'s fixed to it's stand. Your anvils even heavier then mine, it should be even more heavy with a real solid appropriate stand. You may even want to anchor it into the concrete. How much did you pay for that monster? That's a seriously heavy anvil, a collapse of a rusted or fatigued stand could be catastrophic.
