Here are a few photos from my first solo exhibition that opened at the Cat and the Moon gallery in Sligo, Ireland on the 28th of Feb. It runs until the 25th of March so if you happen to be in Sligo please go take a look.

Nice, To be honest i never knew blacksmiths put up gallerys. But i find it extremely cool to say the least.

must be great to put up an exhibition! i like the look of your work particularly like the grass panels - also the photos look good - hot metal is Soooo photogenic!

We really need to get more smiths to approach galleries and put on exhibitions. It's the only way to move our work into the art arena.

well done..The combination of the sculpture and the photography is a really nice touch..congratulations on your solo show..

Beautiful Work!! Congratulations!!!!
Yes, we do need to bring smithing into the art world. It's not just a craft anymore! Well done.

Michael very nice work, congratulations. Exhibiting in a gallery is definetely the way to go if an artist wants exposure within the art world... nelson.

I feel it is time for us all to start making the art world sit up and take notice of what we are doing. The work I have seen in the realm of blacksmithing far outstrips what is happening in the general art world, which seems to be very boring and stagnant. There has never been a better time to kick down the doors of art galleries!

Very Impressive. Another Irish master in the makings. :)
