I almost choked myself out in a crawlspace.  I took a can bug spray with me when I went to fix the water hose on the far side of the house. I saw a big enough spider right beside where I needed to go.  So I sprayed, and sprayed again, and a third time. Then I started choking and coughing and eyes watering and nose running etc.

Any way, a respirator would have been nice then, it was not pleasant experience.

Not to deter you from making one, but you could go to a big box or local hardware and buy a septic probe for 40~ dollars.

That would probably do what you need.

I thought stoic was just our default setting.

Somebody I used to work with thought our dumpster was stolen once.

He was dumping trash from a box truck and had to leave it for a few minutes, I moved the truck to get something else around. When he came back he was on his phone and got into the back of the truck and thought sombody stole our dumpster.

It's I great idea I will use next time a heat treat.

I have seen people start with the heel and handle since its thicker and takes more heat,

then turn around and heat tip so you don't overheat the tip.

Well I actually meant rubbing/ isopropyl alcohol. Sorry I wasn't very specific.

I use a air mattress pump starting my charcoal grill sometimes.

It gets a good flame going pretty quick.

I don't know how well it would really work just thought it was a quick cheap idea.

Steel aside coffee can be used as a stain though.

No the dog treats I tried tasted like cardboard.

I have fallen asleep in public a number of times, that was just the most recent.

When I still delivered appliances, we were coming back from another county and the guy I was with had already fallen asleep.

I stopped at a red light less five minutes from our store and I fell asleep too. I only noticed after the truck in front of us had moved about 20-30 feet.

I've dozed off driving a few times it is pretty scary.

Apparently I'm not the only one who has eaten dog treats. 

I once feel asleep at the tax office and only realized it when I snored myself awake.

If I did purchase a Mr. Volcano I had planned on adding plistix.

Would the plistix be applied over the refractory or am I misunderstanding the info?

I've been thinking about buying a Mr. Volcano forge, but I wasn't sure if it was worth it.

My forge is dead too and I haven't built another yet.

What if you put the wrench in the forge on some round stock near the heads and let it droop under its own weight?

I believe DuraTech has a few different styles of 12'' insulated pipe, (12'' inside diameter). They will also have thimbles, support boxes etc.  I am sure there are others as well that's just the brand I'm familiar with.
