  1. is there a possibility that the shut-off switch malfunctioned? because I had only been using the grinder for a few minutes.
  2. update: now it works. I poked around the switch mechanism, and now it works somehow. i would still like to know why it stopped working
  3. I was cutting some steel and stopped for a second to adjust the extension cord, then when I tried to start again, the grinder had stopped working. I tried other things on that extension cord, and it worked fine. I checked some wires in the grinder, and nothing seemed out of place. please help
  4. I took JHCC's advice and used a flap disk to grind down the rough spots; then I gun-blued it to give it a black finish. And I must say, it does look much better than before. first picture is the after and the second is before
  5. "if you can't stand to have fun poked at you, then this forum isn't for you." -me
  6. So, what is the difference between a hasp and a hinge?
  7. I had a project inspired by JHCC; I was working on replacing a broken sprinkler and ended up having to make a thread extractor. And it worked perfectly! thanks for the idea!
  8. from what ive tested its stable, it has a good center of mass i tried, but im struggling to really get in there. im not sure what to do
  9. ive also seen people use just plain white spray paint as a welding resist
  10. is he only smart when you dont want him to be? (thats how my dog is)
