Canedy-Otto Leader No. 11
32 1/2" works better because the leather will stretch. Add a couple of small rivets to the stitching job as well as some contact cement. All of this has to be done at the forge so you can thread the belt through the blower.

Canedy-Otto Leader No. 11
For information purposes, the belt size for this forge/blower combination is 33 inches long. Don't forget to add about 1 1/2 to 2 inches to skive and overlap. The crank turns counter clockwise. Having issues uploading pictures, but Medic560 has some good onces.

I like it!! It's not the size of a shop that makes a craftsman.

Hello and Thanks
Rick here. Been working on and off of several years and just acquired an old Canedy - Otto Leader forge and blower. I have a propane shop built forge and burner, an anvil and some store bought hammers. I had to take a 3 year break because of illness but I getting stronger and love getting my hands dirty. I have made a few knives and lots of other items for the shop, home and hearth.

Rivet forge ID help
I just picked up what looks like the same forge. Everything is there except the leather belt. Would anybody no the best way to join the leather together to make this belt? Thanks Rick
