Ive been attending blacksmith meets for 30 plus years knife making my main interest made about twenty knives or so just tried my first san mai billet not finished yet or heat treated mild steel outer 1095 core im here to learn and maybe help others. This site is awesome. i failed forge welding because my forge volume was too large for a single burner, so i reduced volume with some fire brick...then success
