Sort of, the anvil is not relevant now the forge however is. Money came in today so I'm going to the bank and get some money out getting some iron pipe and some kind of t for the fan drive assembly plus some brazing rods and I have to learn how to do that too to repair the fan. Plus some new bolts.

Guys enough with the anvil talk. Going to get forge materials today hope to have it up and running today or tomorrow

Gonna wack it with sledgehammer if it breaks I'm gonna grind it down and weld another plate down if the shank I made breaks I'm gonna have to weld it back.

I was practicing my stick welding I'm gonna go over it 6011 rods. My power cord for the welder is on a tight leash I had a table in the shop to do it on

The fan oh it's a lost cause to repair I have to make a new casing for it. What is broken is the mounting bracket. I need one of those Tyre things

You can't weld wrought iron electrically only forge welding will work so back to the forge I have no idea how they are going to fix it I might be inclined to do it myself. I have no idea My battery has 20% left so if i don't reply it's dead

Not doing anything thing to the anvil Why are you on the cast iron one that 50 lbs waste of 60 dollars is going to be scrapped The main anvil isn't going to be modified in any shape or form

Yeah but ordering online has it's downsides like the waiting period I just want to be able to go places I need to get my stuff and be done with it. I'm better than I was when I started. and I never mean to offend anyone it's just that sometimes I have bad people skills cause I work around a bunch of know it all teachers who have a stuck up additude and it just gets to me I'm behind months on one project I started last August and finnaly have the things I need to do it. So like I said bare with me and jus keep on helping because I have taken and used all of the advice I have been givens some have worked and some have not I wanna start making money instead of dishing it out.

You might be new to this but I can't just get up and go to the hardware store I have school and I also have grandparents who don't like to get out of the house and that is why I order most of my stuff online that aside. Trying for my license failed twice within 6pts of passing. I'm right now looking at arc welding and how to do it so until I get my forge fixed or the other one up here I'm out of things to do. Might make a yard fire and attempt to forge weld if I can keep it hot enough I'm bored can't go no where and I hate it just as much as y'all do but just bare with me.

Yeah, the hf anvil has become obsolete since I got my new one

I'll weld on that hf anvil they put Bondo on the base of it

Anvil is outside under a tarp I don't have a proper shop setup

I can't sleep so I'll be playing with my new arc welder. Not blowing any one off just reporting my progress and I'll see you soon.

Not relevant were getting sidetracked so back on topic I will post again when the restoration project is under way so hopefully I can laugh it up when they fail.
