Thats a really good idea, Those boards are spoken for but I will definitely give that idea a go. -
Hi Guys, I have just been blessed with about thirty old school punches, hand fullers and chisels. After a week in a vinegar bath they are ready to go. Unfortunately i really do not have a good logical place (at the moment to store these so that i can use them without digging through a bucket or opening up 4 drawers to find what i am looking for. Anyone have a solution that works for them? Visual aids would be most welcomed. -c

I just picked up a Hay-Bud 120lb. The serial number is 12771, can anyone give me a ballpark on the year? -
Hi fellow and Lady blacksmiths, My name is Charlie Spickler and i am the owner of Brandr Forge in Brooklyn NY. I have been doing this for about 15 years but only got really serious in the last 7 or 8. I am also in the SCA and a lot of my work is geared to our groups needs i.e. Camping, cooking, fighting etc.as well as Viking and norse style metal and blade work. I am happy to have found this forum it is immensely helpful. Cheers Charlie

Actually i am running inside my shop. It doesn't get too cold in there. So the 40lb goes directly into the forge. Its only the the tank that gets cold. And it only started about a week ago when the weather shifted. I forged for hours on end all summer with no issues.

yes Gas forge tanks. What type of manifold would you recommend?

Hi Folks, I am currently running one 40lb tank and I am running everyday. With the change in season i am starting to tank freeze, which i have not had in a long time. I would like to run two tanks so I don't have to wait for the tank to defrost before i can start working again. Does any have a regulator solution where i can have both tanks hooked up at the same time and just switch a valve to direct on tank on and one tank off? Any and all help will be greatly appreciated. -charlie
